Ok guys I am tired of going into a game and spamming as a nuker, but when I go to join ppl say ur a Ranger u aren't a nuker.

I guess the only way to overcome this is to show u ppl the perfect Ranger Nuker Build.

Well I use full Druids armor, and a Zealous Ascalon bow of Fortutude (yes I know the base bow could be better)

My skills are:
Fire: Meteor shower:Meteor:Flame Burst:Fire Attunment:Glyph of Lesser Energy
Ranger: Oath shot:Storm Chaser or Glyph of Sacrifice

Usually I use this pattern. first I hit fire attunment (early so I have time to regen b4 fighting starts). Then I use the glyph of lesser energy-meteor shower-Meteor-Oath shot-Glyph of lesser energy-Meteor shower-Meteor.

I carry flame burst around incase I end up pulling a big aggro. If I am being attacked by ele damage I throw on storm chaser to help with energy.

If I am taking a big aggro I can hold out (with a good healer), Since the Ranger has 2nd best armor they are able to tank somewhat. I pull a good aggro then I start my pattern listed above . If energy is looking good at end I will use meeor then flame burst- if grim I skip the Meteor.

Usually, unlike other nukers, I don;t have a need to stop and regen, using my Zealous bow in between nukes I regen my energy back quite rapidly.

Another faster Build is to replace Storm chaser with Glyph of Sacrifice. Since I use oath shot to instantly recharge my spells I have no worries about the increase recharge time. This allows me to set off 2 meteor showers and 1 meteor in about 15 secs tops, if I get it off smooth enough I can do it in around 10.

Once again Flame burst is brought along for a quick kill. Say u have a group of warrios grouped up and u just got through nuking them. they all have around 1/4 HP, run up and hit flame burst and they are either dead or close to it.

This is not a PVP build it is a strick PVE. I use it mainly with FOW and SF(5man).

Just how do you deal with exaustion?

Flame Burst is PBAoE, why not use Serpant's Quickness instead to speed up Oath Shot?

-3-10+7-5-5=16 energy every 20s, not counting for flame burst. So you might not be as bad off for energy as I had thought, maybe.

However, you've also got 20 energy worth of exaustion to consider. With an energy pool of around 47 at the most, that is a considerable chunck of your energy. While you could certainly get off 2x meteor shower, 2x meteor in short order, you couldn't get another meteor shower off anytime soon.

Yes you are right. I devised this build long b4 many of our patches. I got on last night to use it and realized the exaustion was worse than I remembered last time I used this exact formula. I have however revised it a little but its still quite effective.

Glyph of Sacrifice-meteor shower-Oath shot-Glyph of Lesser energy-Meteor shower-meteor-oath shot (unless of course the foe is dead)

The problem I was running into last night was using meteor directly after meteor shower was giving me a huge exaustion penalty. therefore, I cut it out and used it at the end instead. The exact energy may not add up but if u start with a staff (+energy) switch to ur bow to use a quick oath shot and back to staff for the final blows u should be ok in energy. However, yes the exaustion has seemed to gotten worse since these last few patches. The main bonus of this build is that it can be effectively used in a party for farming. It is perfect for fast runs. Being that u can deal the damage when needed, and have significantly less regen time that other nukers.
